’Tis not too late to seek a newer world.

Ulysses.Run is a run club for people who started late, stopped for a while, or never quite thought of themselves as runners. Every pace is welcome. Nobody finishes alone.

For the late start

Ulysses sailed out again long after anyone expected him to. We think that’s a fine way to take up running, too.

Every pace

Some of us run eight-minute miles. Some of us run eight-minute half-miles. We start together, and we regroup at the end so nobody walks back to the car alone.

Coming back counts

Took ten years off? Kids, an injury, a desk job, life? Welcome back. Your first run with us can be your first run in a long while. That’s the whole idea.

Something to aim at

Weekly group runs, a few goal races a year, and a club that notices when you show up. Mostly, people to strive alongside.

Club gear, in time

Shirts and kit carrying the half-sun mark are in the works: made for the road, and quiet enough to wear to dinner afterward. They’ll be here when they’re ready.

Tho’ much is taken, much abides; and tho’
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are.

Alfred, Lord Tennyson, “Ulysses,” 1842
